Here’s an awesome reason to go see Amsterdam: SharePoint Connect is one of those conferences that brings the best to Europe. But it’s more than that! We are currently in a period where IT is changing extensively: Office 365, Machine Learning, Delve, Office Graph, Sway, OneDrive for Business, Groups, etc… Needless to say there is a lot to keep up with, but more importantly, to go beyond the marketing and see the value applied to your business.
It’s the reason why I love this conference, even for myself, as it gives us the opportunity (often) to mingle and discuss with the experts from the field about these very changes. No one knows everything about SharePoint and Office 365, but by bringing everyone together, you can ask the questions that matter.
Here is a look at last year’s event that I had the chance to witness:
Make sure you register on the conference’s website. Hope to see you there!
Hi, my name is Benjamin Niaulin. I’m a SharePoint MVP all the way out here in Montreal at the Sharegate office. The reason I want to talk to you today is to talk to you about a conference that I absolutely love, and it is SharePoint Connect 2014 obviously in Amsterdam, another city that I love. But forget the fact that it is a SharePoint conference for a second. You must see it like I do. We’re in a period of change. A lot of things are happening, a lot of things are changing around Office 365, unified groups, the Office Graph, machine learning with Delve, OneDrive for Business, surfacing information that comes from anywhere in your environment, SharePoint being the platform underlying all of these new services that are coming out.
So SharePoint is the core. And this conference has all the best speakers coming from all around the world. I’m just lucky to be among all of them, but we’re really talking… We have Christian Buckley coming all the way from the United States. You’ll have Spencer Harbar, you’ll have Jasper Oosterveld for all the power user stuff that are in your interface that will change for your adoption. There’s lots of amazing speakers. And if I could tell you to go not just because it’s a SharePoint conference, forget that. It doesn’t matter. What’s important is the accessibility to all the great speakers, the ones that are either at Microsoft or always working in this Microsoft world in this changing world with globalizations and removing all these barriers. So I strongly recommend to go to SharePoint Connect Amsterdam. And of course, we can definitely share a few beers there and talk about what’s going to happen in the next year. I strongly recommend you go. In fact, I’ll see you there.
