FAQ - Discontinuing of the Partner Program

Why did you decide to discontinue the Partner Program?

The Partner Program as you knew it is now closed. This does not mean that we don't want to work with you. Quite the contrary actually! The Program was not offering much to our Partners other than a discount, which you will still have access to. Moving forward, we plan on focusing more on things that really matter to our ambassadors and community.  We'll update you before March 1st!

Will I be able to resell Sharegate and get a reseller discount?

Absolutely! Based on your company’s Headquarter location, you may order a Sharegate subscription via de below Distributors:

How do I become a reseller?

Before placing an order via a distributor, you must have an active account with them. If you do not already have one, you can email our main contact to get set up. Any and all commissions and discounts must be dealt solely with the distributor. Sharegate will not be involved or be a party to any business transaction between the consultant and the Distributor.

Do you offer NFR demo licenses?

We do not offer NFR licenses for consultants; however, Sharegate provides a free 15-day trial, along with multiple resources available online here.

If you need an extension of the trial, please email sales@share-gate.com with the license key in question and our sales team will extend it for the time you need to finish a project.

Will I be able to handle the renewals for my clients?

Yes. If you are still in contact with your clients and their renewal is coming up, you may process their renewal through our local distributor, as you would handle any new sale. 

We recommend that you reach out to your clients 90 days before their expiry date and that you let our renewal team know that you will handle the order. 

As usual, if we do not receive a notice from you before 60 days prior to the renewal, we will reach out to the clients directly.

What will happen to the partner portal and the information I get from it?

The partner portal will not be active after December 3rd, 2018. 

We recommend exporting all the information that you find relevant and keeping your own record of it.
