Race against the OneDrive clock: How to stay ahead of Microsoft’s deadline
With Marc D. Anderson, Microsoft MVP

The countdown clock has started! Microsoft is cracking down on unlicensed OneDrive accounts, which could mean extra costs and headaches for IT teams to keep access to important files.
Starting in July, unlicensed OneDrive accounts follow a 93-day rule: With a retention policy, they’re archived and stored for a fee and only retrievable for an additional fee. Without one, they hit the recycle bin and later get permanently deleted.
Not sure what to do next? In this session, Microsoft MVP Marc D. Anderson will break it all down—what this change means, what’s at stake, and the steps you can take now to stay ahead before it impacts your organization.
Things you will learn:
- Microsoft’s new OneDrive rules: What’s changing for unlicensed accounts
- How Microsoft’s OneDrive policy update impacts your organization
- The risks of ignoring unlicensed OneDrive accounts (and how to avoid them)
- IT action plan: Strategies for managing unlicensed OneDrive accounts
